Dang, this is thankfully my last bottle, and this wine is likely at the end of life, slight notes of oxidation or sherry. Big fruit, not enough acidity, baking spice. This has all the problems that a 2009 chateauneuf-du-pape had last night, alcoholic, too much fruit, no acid, jammy. For a second, as it sat in glass, it did calm down, but you cannot deny that its closer to port than a pinot. Not scored.

Well, at least I knew what I was getting into this time, as this bottle was consistent with one opened last May. Raisined, a bit alcoholic, fruity and sweet. A wine for the Wagner/Prisoner camp. Maybe not quite as bad as that, but definitely big sweet fruit and modern in style.

Pop and pour, ran a glass through a vinturi which just made it worse. Fruity, raisined, tannic and alcoholic. This is a weird combination, not a flawed bottle, likely a questionable stylistic preference. It reminds me of a candied syrupy drink with alcohol in it. Bottles from more than a decade ago were a better style. I now understand why this is being sold for $20. Maybe they are going for the Meiomi crowd.
Needs an hour+ decanting to open up fully. Red fruit and black tea with slight cassis tones. Good wine, but probably a little high on the price point for the quality. Will check back in a couple years

Pale ruby color. Took 1 hour for alcohol nose to burn off. Followed by red fruit maybe slight menthol. Viscous mouthfeel dark fruit and some spice It’s OK. Nothing special

A big ripe, slightly sweet pinot with a definite Sonoma profile of cola, cranberry and cherry.

it's been a while, but the flavor profile is the same and I'm liking it!

I'm liking this better each time I drink it. "sweet" fruit, which I would describe as fragrant and forthcoming, not subdued but not over the top.
