Du coravin, Que c’est jeune, mais ce ne fut pas non plus desagreable. Cerises noires, goudron, petale rose, classique nebbiollo avec des tannins tres présents ainsi qu’une belle fraicheur. Ca va clairement bien vieillir, mais pas mauvais actuellement

Intense brilliant garnet color. The nose is so compact and even reticent; alcohol is actually very high and drive the first impact on the nose and then classic violet notes. In the mouth is dense, with a great volume; acidity and tannins are well integrated, almost hidden. A great wine perhaps not at his perfect stage. Would love to have more bottles to see how It will evolve.

2016 Produttori del Barbaresco Crus Plus a Few Older Produttori Wines (San Francisco): Red in color like the normale. Predominant green scents. Medium body, wonderful acidity, complex soil, licorice, orange peel, and violet. Tannic finish. One of the least fruit-driven wines in the range at present and tough to sort out, although its potential poked through a little more than, say, the Montefico.

From all the Produttori Riservas so far probably besides the Rio Sordo the most approachable. The Bouquet convinces with red cherries, limestone minerality and violets. The palate was quite inviting after PnP but over the course of the evening picked up extra grip and the fine tannins became more pronounced. I would wait a few more years and than enjoy it over the next 10-15 years.

Cool, sweet cherries on the nose, with some horse stable and earthy notes on top. Lovely, bright nose with complexity from the earthy tones. On the palate, a touch green, medicinal/herbal, but dominated by "cool" red berries. Nice acidity, smooth tannins, turns into puckering dryness. Medium finish, could have lasted a bit longer.
