In my opinion this wine is perfect to drink now. On the nost the champagne showcased ripe citrus, red apples, salinity, lemon curd, and hints of ripe pineapple. On the palate the wine was extremely fresh and precise but with just a hint of maturity which made this wine super delicious and complex. The bubbles were fine and pleasing. Super vibrant champagne. 93-94p

Wine Ramblings belated birthday gathering at ESK. To pair with oysters. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, yellow lemon colour. Thin legs. Nice bubbles. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of oyster-shell minerality, stony minerals, citrus lime. Developing. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium- alcohol (12.5%), medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of citrus lemon-lime, wet stony minerality, oyster-shell, toasty brioche, touch of honeyed nut, almonds. Zippy long finish. Very good quality. Nice development. Really like the minerality here.

Lemon and lime, lime zest, green leaves, grass. High acidity is usually something I like but in this case I think it was to unripe, a grenish tartness in the finish. The fruit doesn't follow up in the finish. Better with more time but never really good.

2014 blind tasting session. Fruity with overt citrus note, low oak bdb clearly from a strict producer. Still very foamy. Decent rather than great at the moment, clearly needs bottle time. 92-93

light gold color, glorious nose of walnuts and brioche that soars from the glass, ripe apple, lime-coated minerals, on the palate showy, wizened apples, heavily fruit-driven, honeysuckle and some sweet racy acid notes, key lime, almost a bit sugary at present, fine length, light caramel note with time, pretty as it is now- this needs time to harmonize and firm up a bit.

An elegant expression of this vintage. Drinking beautifully with loads of toasted brioche on both the nose and the palate. Lemon zest and lime, clean and balanced.

Super, but drinking very young. The palate shows a beautiful lemon curd, lime, and mineral nose. In a few years, I suspect this will flesh out. Best to hold until 2024 or thereabouts.

Bottled May 2015, disgorged February 2021. Classic Cote de Blancs Chard, full of lemony citrus and yellow apple and pear, creamy chamomile flowers, and chalk. The palate is rich and expansive, with a good line of acid and nice chalky grip. Less ripeness, weight and structure than the 2012 I had earlier this year, but drinking deliciously now, better than that vintage at the moment. Indeed, surprisingly open now, not sure this will make old bones.

The most saline one of Agrapart. Elegant with razor sharp acidity but more opened than Venus in his young stage. 95

Glorious - open, lemon curd, marine minerality, bergamot. Great depth and breadth on nose and palate; full yet zippy.

Not blind,
Makes fun to drink it now, refreshing acidity, from the big three the most accessible. Chalky with some lemon and grapefruit notes. 93
