Final wine from the weekend birthday celebrations. Pop and pour.
On the nose, prominent berry, oak and vanilla. Initial notes of blackberry, vanilla, currant and subtle oak. This opened up and some of the sugar fell away leaving oak and leather flavors. Decent and enjoyable finish of berry and vanilla.
Med bodied, sweet, but not overwhelming, smooth and very drinkable.
This was an enjoyable bottle for after dinner and priced fairly according to quality. I would sip this again. Very nice Napa Cab.
