Rust colored. Thin compared to CA versions of the same varietal. Balanced and approachable after 1-2 hr decant. Overall dark fruit, not really heavy tannin /oaky. Mineral/flinty, some funky component rounding out the palate. Definitely pairs better w white, lighter meats or heavy fish.
