  • Nose on this is massive dominated by chocolate cherry cordials and some violet. Palate is smooth as silk with fine tannis that build into a dusting of finely crushed stone. Dark chocolate, ripe plums and some more chocolate some sweet blueberry and well maybe some more chocolate. First glasses I felt were more mineral and had more lift where later glasses were more rich, smooth and weighty. From a finish perspective, I think I might wake up tomorrow still tasting this wine. Enjoyed it and paired well with a coffee rubbed grilled hangar steak. I think I'll leave the rest a few years at least.

  • Rich, lush, opulent and polished, the wine is full-bodied, concentrated and packed with perfectly ripe, dark plums, black cherries, coffee beans, truffle, licorice and very dark chocolate. But it is on the palate where the wine starts to sing due to all of its layers of sexy, supple-textured fruits. The finish packs a punch with its chocolate-covered, dark red pit fruits and espresso. The finish is fresh, pure, long and rich. Drink from 2025-2047.

  • Black and blue fruit, dark, bitter chocolate, flowers, smoke, cherries, plums, wet earth and forest floor aromatics open the perfume. But it is on the palate where the wine really rocks with its layers of concentrated, rich, opulent, sex bomb textured fruits. The finish packs a punch with its chocolate-covered, dark red, silky pit fruits. The wine was made from a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, reaching 14.5% alcohol. 95-97 Pts
