Quite tight at first, showing a bare whiff of smoky mineral reduction and aniseed spice. It breathes up beautifully and has notes of preserved lemon, white peach and citrus blossom. There's flesh through the mid-palate and flavours are underpinned by a chalky base. The finish is fresh, minerally and persistent.

PNP. Nose shows flint, mint/herbs and lemon rind. Lovely palate, crisply acidic with a chalky mineral laden texture. Bright citrus fruits, lean and bone-dry, very clean with a chalky persistence.

Archetypal white Burgundy for me, but I'm maybe biased. Mineral, fruit, oak, acid in harmony. Each time you back something else grabs you. Wish I held onto it longer, but was worried it was shipped improperly

Delicious. Medium+ bodied. On the nose, I get pear, apple and some smokiness. Light to medium yellow in color. It's a beautiful combination of saltiness with a saline, mushroom and velvety "satin" finish. Pricey, but I would buy again.

Popped and poured. Working my way through a survey of PYCM 19 Saint-Aubins. This shows more tropical notes on the nose, with a little herbal element to accompany the typical PYCM lemon and flint. Good structure, with appropriate volume, acid and dry extract on the palate, everything is in place. Juicy finish with additional acid bite surfacing. These should be long lived.
