From a half bottle again. A rich, buttery nose with some nuts and apricots, plums and quite a lot of fresh citrus zestiness. Ripe apricot fruit dominates the palate. There is some freshness, but overall it feels a touch unidimensional and blowsy, and showing that 14.5% just a bit too much.

Half bottles for Thai food offline (King's Heath, Birmingham): 14%. A half bottle. This is powerful stuff. Peaches and pears on the nose. This was served at the wrong point in the meal. But unfortunately, on the palate, it's rather dull, lifeless and flabby.

Rich yellow, almost gold in colour, this viognier shows candied pineapple, peach and honey on the nose with just the slightest hint of citrus. The palate shows more acid - green apple and a hint of sweet lemon. Nice, but bordering on dessert wine.

The alcohol really dominated initially, possibly because it was too cold(?). After giving it some time in the glass to warm and open up some fruit and floral components came through, but you could still taste a bit of alcohol. Really not much going on in the midpalate and not much of a finish. Disappointing.

Pale straw yellow gold, moderate nose of honey, floral, nectarine and peach. Medium-full body, smooth acid with flavorful white pepper, peach and apple. Wonderful spice with a long finish. Good balance. Great QPR

good as table wine, honeysuckle, nice finish, noticeable alcohol, good balance of fruit and oak, makes a nice imitation-crab dish wine, decent viognier

I had this wine after it had been opened for a day. I sensed pineapple, pear and honey dew. The finish was not very rounded and it lingered a little too long. Overall, fairly refreshing and not bad.

Pale gold color with big aromas of pear, honey, peach and tangerine. Medium dry, medium body with little tannin. Strong flavors of citrus, oak and peach. Long, long finish. Could use a touch more acid to bring it into balance. Wonderful QPR in my opinion.

Extremely pale (almost colorless) gold. Notes from first bottle suggested riesling-like mouthfeel, with notes of pineapple, apricot, and especially citrus. Quite similar to the Eberle. Had another bottle with similar-priced riesling for comparison; quite a difference: less citrus with much more supple apricot, pineapple, peach. Medium-bodied and more mouth-filling.

Losing some crispness. Tasting a little flat in the palate. Probably near the end of life.

A nice clean rich palate and nose. Fairly straightforward as California viognier goes, but it works well.

This was nicer that i expected, bt not complex or full bodied. it was light with some tropical fruits. for $12, definitely worth a try...

A bit disappointing. A lot of minerals, very little fruit.

A pleasant wine. Pale, straw colored. Light nose of tropical fruit. Light body with medium finish. Nice change of pace from the usual white wines.
