This remains brisk and grippy with fresh lime and white peach fruit on the nose and palate following with some pulpy density of fruit and a bracing acidity balanced by just a touch of sweetness. Flavoursome and characterful easy drinking that will last for years.

This is brisk and grippy with a lead of fresh lime and white peach fruit on the nose and palate following with some pulpy density of fruit and a bracing acidity balanced by just a touch of sweetness. There is plenty of lively impression in this wine which is drinking very well now.

This is lovely. So well balanced and with a hint of minerality and texture sitting against a touch of RS. The perfect way to kick off a degustation. Great QPR too.

I've sometimes felt that the Dr Loosen Kabinetts can lack some of the precision and clarity of other producers', but that was not at all the case here. This is a pure, fresh, crystalline, gorgeously balanced wine. Not flashy, not powerful, just a lovely tension between acid and sweetness, a palate-cleansing freshness, and a pretty suite of citrus-stone-rubber aromatics (actually a little light on the rubber). Probably Annora's wine of the year so far, but we've get a lot of Rieslings ahead of us yet so that may change. Outstanding value. 8.5%, $20.

Much better than I expected, I had lots of mono-dimensional simple riesling in my youth, as well as some aged petrol-heavy examples in recent years and have thought that rieslings just don't work for me. Until this simple one changed my mind - great balance of off-dry notes with acidity, a hint of petrol lingering subtly, but generally great fruit flavours coming through.

This was a great accompaniment to sunny Labor Day weekend snacks. Salinity at first sip that seems like a bit of effervescence. A nose that reminds me of the fresh-water, marine scent of the wind blowing across Skaneateles Lake (NY). Pure, sweet limey flavors, and a surprisingly long saline finish. Would be great with anything from Doug’s Fish Fry in Skaneateles.

Mouth-watering tingle that feels effervescent (it’s not!) followed by a nice lemon lime twist and crystalline finish with a smidge of apricot-honey for balance. Enjoyable.

Screwcap, 8.5% alc. AP0320. Pale green-gold. Spritzy bubbles.
Rich aroma of sweet lime, mango, bakery goods, wet gravel, some delicate smoky elements, yellow flowers, pear and passionfruit. For a simple Loosen Kabinett, this is really something!
Ethereal, juicy palate. Finishing structured and dry, acid firm, with the added richness of some residual sugar. The palate is not as expressive as the nose, but this should come around in time.
Opinion: Buy more of this for the cellar. That’s something I haven’t said too many times about a Loosen Kabinett, which is usually a “drink young” staple.

It had intense lime fruit aromas and flavours. It has some blossom notes and excellent clarity. The moderate fruit sweetness was perfectly countered by a fine line of minerally acidity. There’s excellent balance and intensity here.

No formal notes. Needed a couple of days open to bring out the aromatics. Seems to be closing down.
Crisp acidity, and almost a quinine like bite. Light and fresh, though there is underlying depth and ripeness to the fruit.
