Similar note to when I had this back in November 2020. At first, it almost had a Pine Sol like character to it but then that blew off. Once open, it still has a prominent oak character, but the lemon curd, pineapple, pear, zest, and creamy finish is so good.

Wish I had more than one bottle. Honey, lemon, a touch of caramel, dried pear, very floral with solid acidity. Wonderfully complex with an elegant finish. There is a lot going on in this wine, but everything is in beautiful balance.

Yellow color with a bouquet and flavor of dried pears, dried apples, and citrus, with vanilla oak. Overall good balance with moderate intensity and a moderate finish. Pleasant wine.

One of the better made Cali Chards out there today. While it has a bit too much oak on the finish, I love the lemon curd and creamy citrus flavors on the palate showing the varietal’s true roots in Burgundy.

sb Gold green, Ripe pear aromas Rich ripe pear flavors, hint of oxidative note, with a sweet feel, I almost thought a big ripe off dry Chenin at first, but then clearly Sonoma chard. Quite lovely and ripe
