Still drinking nicely, but startring to fade. Plenty of peppery spices on nose, which follows through on palate. Slight funkiness on nose initially. Red rasberry/strawberry? best describes the fruit. Soft tannins as expected. nice acidity. Drink up.

Pepper, Rhone-like, soft cherry and raspberry in the mouth, but still lots of acidity. Could almost pass for a Cotes du Rhone. Solid, yummy filling Pinot with good age on it from Oregon.

Memorial Day Weekend Wine Tour (Eola-Amity Hills): There's a bit of heat on the nose with light blackberry scents. The blackberries appear very nicely on the palate along with some tannins that evolve enjoyably. There is a hint of oak as well as some flavors that remind me of aged fruit despite the young age of the wine.

One of the best 2005 Oregon Pinots I have tasted. Asian Spice, truffles, violets, floral, cinnamon. Wonderful acidity and pairs well with a variety of food.

Evening at John Glas house: Nose: Subtle floral qualities. Nose is very soft and simple. Palate: Floral with raspberry and strawberry. Nice but not great.
