Decanted 4 hours but probably could've handled two more. Nonetheless, an exemplary bottle of Chablis. Not quite as classic as the 14 but pretty darn close. Great now with lots of air, this will only get better and end up being the second best vintage in the last 20 years. 95 pts.

Decanted 4 hrs. In my experience with the Preuses GC, it seems to be a great combination of sensual and seductiveness along with a more serious, structured GC like Valmur or Les Clos. This 19 is a great example. Sunshine kissed orchard fruits, well, shine… and play well of perhaps a sliver of wood poking through in the form of warm baked bread (taken from W. Kelly’s note). As the wine warmed, a tremendous thrust of lemon squeezed over minerals impart quite the impression on the finish, which is both long and very persistent. Tremendous potential here.

well this was a wild ride... pretty much NR on night one (even after 5 hour decant) cuz it was totally tight / wound up and with all sorts of intriguing but at time not great flavors... could tell it had great substance but just not pleasing in any way... then night two (after another two hour decant) this thing really showed its stuff, very intense lemon, huge minerals... powerhouse and very enjoyable (despite being, still, totally young and wound up)... gotta figure at least 94-95 pt potential but I suspect it may take ten years to get there... WOW -- not for the faint of heart at this point, I recommend decanting and drinking on night two only

Great quality of fruit, with plenty of lemon, lime and a little bit of stone fruit that gives it plenty of body and length, but the generous palate is well balanced with well judged acidity and a mineral cut that keeps it from becoming too heavy, and a classic Chablis saline/limestone finish that brings you back for another sip. Feels like this could do with at least a couple more years to be at its peak and will go on for many years after that, but this is already delicious and showing its class. 92-93 for now but the 94 score based on where I expect it will get to.

Good expression of Chablis. Nice acidity, minerality, citrus, tart apple, slight underlying richness of french oak.

Massive potential, incredible density, that classic Preuses floral quality, but in need of time, oh so much time.
