  • Pinot Noir Zoom Tasting. Tasted semi-blind. Drank in Grassl Cru.
Appearance is clear, very pale intensity, purple colour. Thin legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of sweet spices, rapsberires, strawberry, fresh red cherries, boiled red candies. Youthful.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium- alcohol, soft low tannins, medium- body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of sweet raspberries, bright fresh red cherries, strawberry, sweet boiled red candies, spices and light herbal stems in the background. Medium finish.
Good quality. Seems fairly simple easy drinking for early consumption. But I am told it could surprise with a few years of age.

  • Nose: raspberries with chocolate
Palate: berries with bitter spice on the mid-palate. Short but smooth finish
Tasted with: pork loin chop and veggies.
Overall: light colored and light bodied refreshing red. Would be good served at a lower temperature. Enjoyable overall. Consensus at my house: 86 points
