A very good pinotage from where else but South Africa. Nose has nice dark Cherry, blackberry syrup, tar smell to it. Palate has medium-low acid, medium tannin, mellow EtOH, medium finish. Dark Cherry, cherry cough syrup, vanilla. Not overly complex, a bit one dimensional, but quite a nice flavor profile. Drinking well now, don’t really see how it gets any better.
