My first Rogue Valley wine. Served with smoked TRI tip and paired nicely. At first the wine was a bit fruit forward but post decant 30 minutes the wine added complexity . Good QPR .
Will be on the lookout for another . .

Beautiful dark color, big ripe fruit on the nose. Full bodied, relatively light on the finish though. Would probably drink now, don’t expect it will improve much with more time.

Super tight on opening. Tons of wood, even some brett. Decanted half the bottle for 45 minutes. Opened beautifully. Slightly tanic, a little acidic, super bright but full. Tart cherries, dark chocolate cookies, subdued but still present oakiness. Really great. (Especially on Last Bottle for the price!)

Decanted for 45mins Faint nose, red currant, cherry Jam. Color: deep red. Medium body, light acid. Taste of prune, raisin, blue fruit - pretty one note, short follow. Anthesis of Napa cabs, so if you're looking for something more old world this is fine. Would probably drink now, doubt this will get better with age.

This was a very pleasant surprise, first Southern Oregon cab. Got it in a mystery case from Last Bottle @ $12. Opened first night, classic somewhat modest nose, very tight on opening. Bit of oak, fruit profile more bordeaux than napa. Tight finish. Nose opened up after about 30 mins, but still tight on palate. Gassed it up. Second day just a taste, Let it warm up a bit, much more open, nose and palate more accessible, Meduium-bodied, classic profile. finish opened up too. Gassed it up again. Day 4 finally finished 2 nice glasses, wow. Was really singing, nicely balanced, bit of oak, palate really rounded out. I think with a 30-60 minute decant this would be great on day 1. Hard to say many years ahead, but definitely a few more years of bottle age will benefit this wine. For $12? I’d buy again in a heartbeat.
