Creamy richness of this wine is followed by aromas of plum, peaches, tangerine, and red pear. On the palate, the wine is soft and round, with a persistent mousse and rich fruit, leading to a. lovely, toasty, baked bread finish.

Apples and hint of pears on palate, hints of pears on nose, the bubbles are the plentiful , very fine and long lasting. Palate is a near perfect balance of dryness, minerality and very light fruitiness. Delicious with pasta, broccolini in a light lemon sauce. Always a lovely experience with this bubbly.

Purchased this bottle in Napa in May of 2014 and kept in my cellar.
Straw color. This has, quite frankly, evolved really nicely. Both my wife and I were not fans of this upon release but after 7 years, this was quite lovely (and I would say the same thing of the Deveaux Ranch releases from Mumm Napa). On the nose quite surprisingly, notes of petrol, almond paste, apples, match stick, apricots, pear, and a savoryness. On the palate, this had medium plus body, medium acidity, almonds, red apples, apricots, honey, and grapefruit. Overall, I really liked this.

Pale/steely straw color. Strawberry, peach, lemon meringue with a hint of green apple in the nose. Loads of red apple followed with orange blossom and cherry. Long finish with citrus but not puckery.

This specific bottle is an older version of the non-vintage Santana Brut, disgorged in 2010. Upon opening it displayed that toasty caramel and yeastiness, subdued white fruit. As it breathes the intensity drops off a bit and it starts to fade quickly. I didnt expect much from this, but it has held up quite well.

This was from the first vintage, 2007 I believe. Crisp tart apples and a creamy, slightly yeasty, finish. I remember it being better so the vintage may be declining.

Nice but grapey, wanted to have something a little more "chardonnay" or "pinot" but this bottle was thompson seedless with good fizz. Tasty wine, just not particularly distinguished or maybe that is distinguishable.

Very enjoyable, good flavor, good body, and easy to drink. As the weather warms up we take the drinks outside to enjoy on the back patio. For me there's no better way to enjoy a good glass of sparkling wine or ice cold beer than with the perfect weather. That's what we did with this bottle and it was awesome.

4+12+16+6+50=88 A pretty good sparkling wine. More sweetness than I expected. Not a particularly intriguing finish. Better sparklers available at this price.

Not a big fan of this wine. Nice flavors on the nose, but things were not smooth or subtle; instead rather harsh and unfinished. More of a cacophony than a melody.

A real nice start to an evening of good food and wine. A bit sweet but has an extended smooth finish. Strberry aroma with vanilla and toast on the tounge.

For an off-dry sparkler, you can do a helluva lot worse. This is a fine mimosa sparkler (which I do not use as a pejorative; few things could be a more noble destiny for a sparkling wine than to produce mimosas for a lovely brunch!) and not bad on its own, especially if you have company that doesn't much care for the driest of the dry. Probably also has some excellent cocktail implications as a result. But I digress -- as a wine, this is so-so; I'm sure it has its place, though I prefer most other Mumm wines to this, as I generally enjoy predominantly brut-or-drier.

I'm not really sure what to make of this wine - its just Mumm Napa's Brut Reserve with a little extra sugar on the dosage. That being said it is an appealing wine with pinot-heavy flavors of red berries and grain. I like the regular drier version better, but, hey, I hear Carlos is using most of this wine to fund charity ventures, so more power to him.

Good wine, still plenty of life left. Nutty and biscuit flavor, with a soft fruitiness as it coats the mouth.
