Raspberry coulis, eucalyptus, bound up in tightly grained, seasoned oak. Grippy green oil. Inspiring bramble berry perfume leaks from the imposing wood chassis. Busy with detail and tension. Very fresh now, drinking closer to 90+ before it yields reluctantly to 91. I anticipate a turning point after it has time to relax—say, after 2025 and through 2030. Drunk with Sartori cheese and chilled beef coulotte sliced thin–pan crusted, cooked blue. Update: 3 or 4 days later, tabletop remains showed a lot of promise. Finally accomplished in its integration, collar loosened, decomposing and showing its best. I wouldn't touch my next bottle before 2029 if I could think that long. 91++

Truly outstanding wine. Especially considering the price point. Purchased from the winemaker at a dinner this past Spring in Michigan. Savory and dark fruited. Very smooth with great acids. Serious stuff.

The very first wine. Harvested by hand, press with stems, and foot tread, barrel in three years, and now more 500 l barrels. Just amazing beautiful perfume to the wine. Tight on the palate and again with striking minerality.

Smells so good on day two. Mineral and savory and fruit - with the especial note of cinannamon. Lively and powerful on the palate, with a huge amount of gumption.

Cinnamon red hots but in a sweet way this time. Deanna smells more floral, like honeysuckle. And darn that is just amazing. Tension, dexterity, definition. Beautiful.

There is the cinnamon red hots. Mark says roast pork but Marianna looks disappointed. And very tight on the palate. Loads of acidity here. On the savory edge. A change of style. Gutsy and super serious. To lay down right now.
