Golden yellow. Lemon, white peach and honeysuckle, some white flowers, some stony mineral notes on the nose; lemon and saline notes on the attack w almost tropical flowers and powerful mineral and stone quality on the mid palate with lemon, flowers, and long pepper spice on the medium long finish. This is incredibly interesting and definitely good on its own for contemplative sipping. More akin sensually to a new world SB with powerful terroir influence, than Spanish Albariño.

Straw colored with greenish hues in the glass. Notes of lemon, lime, stone fruit, minerals, and a touch of salinity. The wine is balanced and dry. Racy acidity make this a perfect match for seafood.

Solid wine, especially for the price. Nothing special about it. Plenty of apple, melon with tangerine. I think I hoped for more but I’m not upset about it.

Uruguay. Albariño. It works. It more than works. This is an excellent expression of a traditionally Spanish varietal, very much in a characteristic idiom for the varietal, from 18 miles away from the Atlantic, just the other side. It's impressively complex, minerally / salty and floral, with a range of citrus, stone, and tropical fruit including lime, orange, peach, apple, and mango, plus savoury notes including hay and pepper. Like proper Spanish Albariño, it's zesty and acidic, a refreshing complement to seafood, but with 13.5% ABV it's also full and round on the palate, showing significant body around the citrus-mineral core. It's a bit reticent overall, but the full experience comes out with time and coaxing. It's the best Uruguayan wine I've had to date, solidly in the 90-91 range, a big step up from the fairly rough reds.

Very nice white, crisp easy drinking, pear, light green apple, a touch of yeast, minerally and also a touch saline. Quite quaffable, excellent with oysters!

Very enjoyable. Great nose. Lots of fruit but balanced and smooth. Fruit may mellow in years to come. That would be better for me. Still pretty darn good.

Ave of wife's and my score. To the nose, not overly fragrant. Pear > honey melon > peach. On the palate, first notice the round mouthfeel (slightly more than other western albarinos but more than galician). Again, pear, peach (w>y), and honey for fruit, with a very slight lemon pith near the finish. Slight spice when coldest. Salinity slightly more than other western albarinos. DRINK COLD.

I do not understand the low scores for this wine. Is it because it's from Uruguay, whose history of making quality wines is just recent? Or is it because the Albariño grape is associated with Vinho Verde and other inexpensive Portuguese and Spanish whites? Typical of the varietal, the wine is light in color, citrus perfumed and high in acid. It is also exceptionally well made with its entire life spent in stainless steel before bottling.

Enjoyed on Christmas Eve, 2020. Wine needs to be served cold. Great with assorted cheeses, probably best with seafood. Great mouthfeel, no oak, stainless steel fermentation.

Interestingly I thought I smelled washing liquid. Maybe it is akin to the ocean breeze described by others here.
This was good washing up liquid smell on the nose.
Lemony palate.
Can imagine this will go well with seafood. Maybe some oysters.

Tasapainoinen, herkullisen hedelmäinen, kivasti mineraalinen albarinho. Positiivinen yllätys. Sopi hyvin rasvaisten muikkujen kanssa.

Second time having this wine. Chilled and served with seafood.
On the nose: this is chablishesque, notes of key lime, hint of creaminess/dairy on the nose.
On the palate: prickly acidity, lemon, lime. Basically citrus galore without the hint of stone fruit you get from Chablis or granny smith apples.
Love this wine, phenomenal stuff from the Bodega!
