Typical nappa cab, things are starting to integrate well, touch of oak, lots of green pepper, I would give it 3-5 years and it will be banging for the $$

Dark, dark red; even purple/brownish cast to it. Big tears on the bowl of the glass. Big fruit in the nose, with big-time chocolate. Quite rich in the mouth with a lot of cocoa powder. This is flamboyant and sexy. Not exactly a textbook Napa Cabernet, it is nevertheless quite enticing, tasty and attractive to drink. 5-13-17-8: 93/100.

Popped and poured. Amazing how closely this resembled the '18 Ch. Corbin I tasted right before this. Both had some nice cocoa/chocolate notes and fine tannins, although this is a bit chunkier, and the nose slightly less pure. Color much the same, too. Amazing. I prefer the Corbin, but not by a ton. And I'm not sure I'd be able to ID them blind if tasted side by side. 5-11-17-8: 91/00.

Similar to previous notes. Tasted alongside the '15 Signorello cab, and this was less concentrated, almost a light-bodied style, but quite stylish and inviting. Glad I have more of this. Great value. Held up very well on the 2nd day after vacuum sealing the bottle.

Popped and poured. Very dark; virtually opaque. Firm varietal fruit in the nose. Seems quite precise. Palate is crisp, well-structured, with loads of fruit waiting to burst out. I'm leaving this in the cellar overnight to see if it develops some more. Seems to have a lot of promise, but we'll see.
Next day: has really developed nicely in 24 hours. Nose blasting out cocoa and chocolate nibs. Really gorgeous. Chocolate and cherries in the mouth. Magyarsvensk hit the nail on the head: crème de cassis. This could easily sell for three times the price or more. It is that good. And it will age for a long time. The structure is there. 5-13-17-9: 94/100.

I was surprised with the quality on this. Dark fruit, just the right structure. Excellent value. This was better than many recent cabs I've had that were quite a bit more expensive. 93++pts.

One of my favorite producers in Napa from a QPR standpoint. This estate cab has a lovely nose which becomes more herbal over time. Taste is perfectly balanced with soft tannins on the finish; good now but has aging potential.

This is an old school napa cab. There are serious green notes here, and not in a negative way. Nice structure, pretty serious wine. It's not at this level, but it reminds me a bit of Togni. I am going to stash a couple of bottles for a few years.

This wine needs time in bottle to smooth out the tannins which currently dominate the taste and mouthfeel. It took three nights open to start revealing some dark berry fruit but even then the dusty tannin dominates. Some tobacco on the nose. Could be a good one long term but patience is required.

Decanted approx 2 hrs. Very nice High QPR. Good pickup on cassis. This was bright and fresh - not overly tannic. Must buy more.

Beautifully crafted cabernet from Napa. Perfectly balanced, great fruit, deep purple color. Enough of a keeper for me to buy more.
