Nice shining cherry color, quite light, at the nose quite complex, with sweet spices, red cruncy fruits, earthy, with a little bit of orange in the background. On the palate it's intense, with beautiful even if young tannins and lively acidity. Long and pleasant finish. Young but entering the drinking window with the right pairing, it is surely a more approachable version of Brunello but nonetheless one I really enjoyed.

Intense ruby, on the nose sour cherry, tea, earthy . Dry wine but well balanced . Smooth tannins . Lots of flavour . Drinking beautifully . Love it. Proper grown up wine

This half-bottle was accidentally(?) left in our agriturismo when we arrived in Montalcino last year, so we took it home to enjoy later.
First sips from the bottle, super tight, sharp, tannic Brunello, no doubt about it. Letting it open up for an hour did wonders - rich, minerally, tobacco and flint and so much delightfulness. Instant nostalgia for the bottle we had with the 1.5kg Florentine steak at Il Grifo a year prior in Montalcino.

The best Fattoi I have ever had! Incredible nose with tons of cherries, leather, cigarbox, tea. Medium bodied, fantastic balance already, so fresh and juicy.

Montalcino 2021 Brunello Trip; 8/26/2021-9/1/2021 (Montalcino, Sienna Province, Italy): With vineyard visits finished, I hung out at the Enoteca di Piazza for some wine tasting to add to the list. 15th wine was Fattoi Brunello di Montalcino. Purple/burgundy hue, medium nose. First taste of modest dark fruits - cherries, blackberries, currants with quick finish and medium linger. Dry and smooth but no notable developed flavours - which should in time

Tasting the leftovers after 6 days in the fridge in a small bottle, not much have happened, still great stuff!
