  • Bright and forward nose, there are fresh cherries and redcurrant, roses, roasted espresso beans, aniseed and savoury grilled meats. This smell like a main course. Elegant but profound. Good concentration and ripeness on the rich and deep palate. A touch more fruit forward and tensions than a typical Brunello on an average vintage. The underlining freshness is always there to keep the balance in check. This palate spoke highly of the 2015 vintage for this Brunello. Medium-bodied, transparent and firm structure completed the aromatic exploration and mouthfeel. Nice transition to a lingering finish with hints of fine tannins. Very open the moment you pour into your glass. Aging this for another 2-3 years will be even better for developing that smooth texture and complexity. 92-93 pts
