  • Medium ruby red with pink-orange rim. Unripe raspberry, dark cherry, stewed strawberry, baguette, tobacco, cedar, spices, white pepper and rocks. Medium-full bodied, medium-high acidity, medium-high tannin, medium-high structure, medium alcohol and long finish. Wine at the beginning of tertiary phase. Initially, there were sharp edges and some nervousness on the palate. After 2 hours of breathing, the wine calmed down and opened-up beautifully.

  • Farmyard, mint, red cherry, red roses, earthy, game, a little wild like Corton. The vineyard is right across the valley against Le Charlemagne. Medium plus flavour intensity, medium plus finish. Very delicious and enjoyable to drink at this young age. Great value!
