Wow - lots of dark black cherry, cinnamon/clove spice, black tea and forest floor on the nose and palate. Medium body and longish, flavorful finish. Best in the Sojourn line-up. This vintage especially good.

Last of my '19 Sangi, always one of my favorite Sojourn Pinots. Lots of tangy fruit, bright red cherry, black tea, spice box, excellent minerality on the 30 second finish.

Final bottle of this particular '19. Fully loaded at the pnp....rich red cherry, strawberry fruit with a wonderful clove spice nose and perfectly balanced acidity. Easy 94 at the pnp, but faded a point or two over the next 2+ hours. Still quite good with black tea, a trace of oak barrel and a touch of orange rind on the back end. Nice finish of 30+ seconds. 94 at the start, 92 at the end. This is the oppo of my last bottle of this about 8-9 months ago, which needed an hour to fully play out. If you want the most bang now, drink this one within the first hour of opening. My personal drinking window preference for Turley zins is consistently around 3-5 yo and for these Sojourn pinots right at around 3-4 yo.
Solid 92.....90 on opening, better after 1 hour of air. Great fruit, spicebox and depth after that first hour it's open. Terrific wine to sip by the pool, in the summer sun. Very good acidity backing up all the fruit and spice. Solid pinot......

This is just outstanding. The best out of recent vintages. Creamy, silky cherry. Long finish with cherry creme. Medium bodied. Medium acidity. This is gorgeous now. May improve but I like it in its current state.

Fragrant raspberry and violet with hints of eucalyptus and tea tree oil on the nose. On the palate the wine is medium-bodied, balanced and smooth with a core of ripe red bramble fruits and touches of strawberry and red currant. The tannins are fine-grained, the oak is well integrated, and the mineral-driven acidity brightens the significant fruit flavors. This gives the recent 97-point Gap’s Crown Vineyard a run for its money.

Dark red fruit on the nose. The palate was dark cherry, currants, black tea and hints of spice that came out on the moderately long finish.

The bright cherry really pops on this one, just a tad on the syrupy side but finishes with good acidity and spice.

Sojourn never disappoints. A great wine, even at this young age.
