Real tasty. Took just a second to open. Great present of fruit but with nice hints of bacon fat and pepper. Fun Syrah to drink. Plenty of structure to keep it interesting and worth holding on to for a few years for sure

PNP. Very nice after an hour in the decanter. Dark fruit, pepper, some black olive. Exuberant in its ripe fruit and fresh acidity. Alcohol is noticeable on the finish. Accesible with decant, this has the stuffing to develop over the next 5+ years.

P&P; off the pop this was slightly reductive and had an interesting eucalyptus flavor behind the black and blue berry fruit. Baking spices, dusty earth and dark chocolate round this out. A tad young IMO, so recommend holding another years or two, or several hours in a decanter if drinking near-term. Drink 2024-2034.

Dark in color with long legs on glass and a fruity nose. Purple and dark fruit on palate with nice acidity and medium long finish. Vanilla and dusty earth. Medium body overall. Although it is a very nice wine at a great price point, I am spoiled by having enjoying one of Carlisle's other syrahs that had another decade in the cellar earlier in the week. Lovely wine and great price but this winery has some real gems as well that really show what they can do.

Gave this a short decant and it was singing. Peppery raspberry perfection, with silky mouth coating tannin. Hard to compare this to other “value” bottlings because production is so small (165 cases) but this is stupid good for $25.

Bold yet smooth and approachable. dark berries, mineral undertones and touches of coffee and spice. Still very young. Smoothened out with decanting over a few hours. Day 2 noticeable difference. More cohesive. This wine is on par with bottlings 3 times the price. Outstanding value. I’ll second Mr Scott’s comment that quantity produced is a bit too low!

Still quite primal, with depth and a percolating persona. Dark bramble berry, dried shallots, lavender, white pepper and river rock. Seamless and long, with a concise yet flamboyant manner. Medium-to full-bodied Syrah that unfortunately was produced in a small quantity (165 cases). This needs time; even on day two this was somewhat tight. Drink 2024 - 2034.

Night two: raspberry and cherry, a little oak, and black pepper. Firm tannins. Nice for this price point.

A nose of dark fruit and spice, dark black ink in color. A full bodied red, with blackberry, blueberry, spiced flavors on long finish. www.winelx.com

30-minute decant. Dark color, weighty body, dark fruit, decent finish. Impressive, given the price ($25).

Lively, vibrant wine. Plenty of dark fruit flavor. Delicious now, but no rush to unscrew the cap.
