This wine is getting there. Age has rounded out the tannins and blended the alcohol into its frame (15 percent). The alcohol sting that showed in its youth is now subdued. This will continue to get better with age. I think burghounds target of drinking in 2027 is spot on. You can drink this now but will be better with age and will last a very long time.

It is surprising how big this wine is. This has more weight than the typical village level wine but also has more alcohol. This is at 15 percent alcohol but the freshness of the wine camouflages most of it No noticeable heat on the finish. Lots of oak of this stage, this wine could benefit from a few years in the cellar. 90-92.

Ripe fruited, and very little of the Vosne spice that I was looking for. Noticeable heat on the palate (labeled at 15%). Did pick up some weight and texture with a little air, but never quite balanced out the alcohol. Disappointing.

A very spicy Vosne Romanee with plum fruit, subtle oak, and dark cherries. The weight is impressive for a village. Very good for its level. It should age beautifully. 90+

Quite a bit of oak right now. Behind that there’s berry and spice. The palate is velvety, and has good body. Give it some time to let the oak integrate.

Consistent with previous note. Ripe and dense for a village in a good wine. Good texture.
