The nicest sauvignon blanc I have tasted from South Africa in a couple of years; not surprising knowing that it is from the vintners behind Hamilton Russell. More mineral notes than in a typical New Zealand SB. I would definitely buy this again.

A very unique expression of sav blanc. Fresh hay and subtle spice on the nose. Flavors of citrus, snap pea, and grass. As the wine warmed in the glass, the acidity became more apparent, and in sync with a more typical sb profile. The finish had a distinct copper (like sucking on a penny) finish that I rather enjoyed. Great price of $9.99 and I would certainly buy more.
