Cellar tracker ratings too low on this- remember JD was 97+, WA 96-8+,VM93- this is top tier RRV Ritchie Vineyard stuff/ perfect now. Luc morlet tries to make a Burgundian Montrachet style in America- and by that standard it’s a bargain. From the mailing list it was $100 or so and with hunting you can get close to this- not cheap but not Burgundian peer price either!

Blliets Chards from around the world (Billiet's Bordelo): Noce with notes of vanilla, faint apricot and Meyer lemon. Wonderfully integrated on the palate. Delicious wine, but just a nudge behind the Peter Michael for me. Finished 3 of 6, my 2 of 6.

Sourced from Ritchie vineyard. Medium plus nose shows deep lemon peel, hazelnut, white pear, yellow flowers, marzipan, has a rich feel to it. Palate matches with both rich CA notes and French nutty or leesy tones in there. Very complex, melon, almond, tropical notes, light spice. Obvious quality, but stops short of incredible with medium plus finish. Should develop really nicely with more time.

A very pleasant Chardonnay for enjoying on the patio all by itself. Floral with mild tropical notes and a touch of oak. It deserves attention as a crowd pleasing quaff that is as fresh as Spring.

Wild flowers, pineapple, butter scotch. A beautiful and balanced drink. Could drink all night. Had with a seafood tower.

A very balanced wine drinking beautifully. Not entirely sure it is worth the tariff but as always a well crafted wine.
