This bottle seemed to have a fair amount more oak than I recall from prior; makes me think it might have entered a somewhat closed/dumb phase. I left 2/3 of the bottle and will see how it evolves with air. Hopefully it comes back around.

More minerality and not enough tropical or butter notes that I prefer. A nice Chardonnay but needs more time to see what this really has to offer. A little more complexity as it warmed in the glass but at this price point it needs more.

This is a very tasty wine; the nose shows lovely ripe orchard fruits with hints of spice and floral notes, maybe just a touch of lemon zest; the palate is like biting into a juicy golden apple or maybe a d'Anjou pear; lush ripe fruit, but with good acidity and freshness. A wine that is certainly tasty and enjoyable, but at the price probably not a rebuy. There is chardonnay available in Oregon and Europe that is certainly as good if not better for less.

Medium straw color. Primary lemon, light nectarine, a touch of barrel spice. Minerals peek through, and a beautiful floral undertone develops. Bright, well integrated acidity and a long, intense but linear finish.

This is an absolute farce. This wine was not flawed. It was lackluster, it was bland, it was mediocre, it didn’t have any structure, the acid was not present, there was no aromatics, and after three days of continuously tasting with no improvement, I gave up. It was not oaky nor buttery, yet it didn’t even remotely come close to being white burgundy. It drank like a more elegant $5 bottle.
It’s not a horrible wine per se. Bland and flavorless? Yes. Offensive and undrinkable? No. Worth its price? Absolutely not. Beaux Freres makes some solid Pinot but their Chardonnay really, really needs to either sprout an identity or grow a spine.

Tasting at the winery; I was told this is from sourced fruit from Chehalem Mountains; the nose showed lemon peel, spice, ripe red apple, with lovely high toned floral notes; the palate was crisp and fresh with a very long finish. Very good.

Elegant and crisp with nice acidity. Further evidence that the Willamette Valley is becoming an excellent source of top-tier Chardonnay. Love it.

Wow, really enjoying this tonight! Pale, straw colored but elegant with crispness and some minerality that make this enjoyable this time of year.

I think this needs some aging to show what it has. Fairly non-descript at present. I will wait a few years to open my other bottle.
