I believe this is a blend of the two single vineyards from Sean Capiaux, winemaker from O’shaughnessy, so a bit of Russian river and Sonoma coast. Best on the PNP, rich cherry, raspberry fruits with spice, damp earth, and a bit of iron ore. Enjoyable. Fruit faded after two hours.

Nice red and some darker fruit, moderate tannins, medium body, moderate to long finish. Overall a pleasing wine and great with food. Still young and can use a little more time in the cellar

No detailed notes taken while drinking. As others have mentioned this is a bigger more full bodied pinot but that is not uncharacteristic for a certain type of RRV wine. On the nose there is fruit but can already get some of the heat from the alcohol.
On the palate cherry then some acid and then again really get hit with the alcohol. This causes the wine to drink a little sharp/thin in addition to being a little off putting. I have no problem with this bigger RRV style or Pinots that clock in at higher alcohol, really enjoying the wines of Walter Hansel and a recent Joseph Swan, but in those wines the alcohol is just as high or higher but really well integrated and the richness of the fruit comes through with a round mouthfeel.
Maybe in some time this will round out, but this bottle at this time does not deliver for me (even accounting for general place/style).

Nice bottle. Vibrant fruit with some overtones, oak. Medium bodied, balanced and classy. Very enjoyable wine.

Not bad. Tons of young oak. Not subtle.

Fruit forward. Lots of strawberry and dried cherries. A little high in alcohol - hot. Give a year of two.

A heavier style Pinot; darker in color and nose is dark cherry; taste is medium body but a bit tart and finish is uncharacteristic for a Pinot.
