We drank our second bottle and found it better than the first. Well balanced and well structured. Like a reliable neighborhood restaurant you can return to time and time again. Great QPR.

Birrira Tacos and Rioja (Gautum's, Portland, Oregon): This was a bridge wine between the LrA and Lan. It shows more french oak influences of kirsch and smoke while also showing the sour side of rioja with dark red cherries, raspberries, cranberries, violets, licorice, and sweet tobacco. The Full bodied feel is youthful and robust with tart, medium+ acidity and chewy, medium+ tannins. This can definitely use a few years to fully come together. There is a lot to like here and I can see this turning on another gear with about 5+ years more.

red fruits (raspberry, cranberry, cherry), med minus body, coconut. medium acidity. oak treatment is obvious from the coconut taste but taste of toasty wood itself is very subdued.

This was nice, classic style, I’d say similar to Vina Alberdi. It shed most of its oak after the first day.

Harmonischer, gut ausgewogener und kraftvoller Wein. Dunkle Farbe, gut abgestimmte Tannine.

A very decent quaffing wine. Nice QPR. This is a crianza that isn’t mean to age so drink up!

Needs more time. Better on Day 2. Overall not as strong as I was expecting from Roda. Solid but nothing special.
