Lunch at Batard: A more aromatic and lighter profile compared to the Girardin alongside. Most thought that this was a village and the Girardin was a 1er. Rather simple and slightly flat on the first day but this improved the following day when it put on more weight. Still a very good wine mind, both this and the Girardin showed a lovely saline, elegant quality that I love in white Burgundies.
