Earthy funk on the nose and palate initially. Not off-putting, but kinda dominant. Took a little while to blow off and then it was far more balanced. Blackberry, cherry, and blueberry, meat, and black pepper spice. Really nice. I'll let the other bottles rest for 6 - 12 month, but if I do open one I will definitely decant.
