  • Deep ruby red, almost opaque, with red brim. Nose is youthful, still quite restrained, with notes of black currants and some plums and cedar. Mouthfeel is youthful, medium bodied, slightly austere but with nice fruit underneath these firm tannins, has nice acidity and notes of black currants and some plums and cedar.

Quite classic young Médoc, still quite tight, but will open up nicely with a few years in the bottle.

  • Quite pleasant for what it is. Definitely a good value offering for it's price point. Quite youthful. I mostly agree with the other comments. Was better after a few hours open in the bottle and some time in the glass. A decant of a few hours might be best. I'll cellar the rest of my bottles for a few more years then revisit. I believe this wine has some upside to it so no hurry to consume the rest of my bottles.

  • With good color, the wine offers blackberries, cedar, leafy herbs, currants and spearmint in the nose. The wine is medium/-full bodied, fresh, chewy and firm, with a splash of peppery, blackberries in the finish. Drink from 2023-2038.

  • Fresh, juicy, bright, savory red berries on the nose and on the medium-bodied, tangy, berry-filled palate. Vibrant and crisp, you can enjoy this with just a year or two of age. 88-90
