Gooseberries, yellow plum and kiwi on the nose with honey, freshly cut grass, nuts and butter. Dry and medium bodied palate with balanced acidity. Good ripe fruit and some citrus zest bitterness. Quite lengthy spicy finish. Well-balanced good stuff.

Today's Bordeaux (W Hotel, Chicago IL): nose: nice soft nose with melon and minerals. not a lot of depth to the nose, but nice pleasant aspect to it with a little shyness in there
taste: very smooth feel with melons and pears and slight hints of minerality
overall: a solid wine that is easy drinking and has a subtle acitidy to it
