Slightly reduced (sulfury) but otherwise characteristic nose (oyster shell, citrus), fresh but creamy palate, quite short on the finish, apple. With oysters at restaurant Brut de Mer, Amsterdam, NL.

Nine additional months in bottle has done a good job to fatten these up a bit. Still tart but with more ripeness. Lemon bar, saline and white flower. Great for the price.

Vinetasters: 2020 Patrick Piuze (Skokie, IL): Served single blind. A bit of reductive smokiness on the nose here. Quite light in texture with some smokiness and again a weird dried bean note that dissipates with air. Moderate acidity and fairly balanced, but not too complex. My 6th, group's 9th.

Pretty muted but good for $25. Maybe give these a year of so. Faint lemon, vanilla and mineral.

not blind
After a great Rose de maceration vom Larmandier and Cristal Rose 2002 a bit short and too austere but refreshing salinity and acidity. 91

I guessed Burgundy, Chablis. Very tight, lean, lemon driven but very elegant and straight forwarded. Precise finish. 92
