Pretty pale pink color with salmon reflections with red cherry, raspberr, pink grapefruit zest, dried rose, and. Hint of wet stone aromas. On the palate, medium bodied with zesty mouthwatering acidity and raspberry, red cherry just ripe watermelon and spice flavors. Medium finish. Blend of 52% Grenache/48% Mourvèdre. 13% abv

This has proved to be a really good wine over the years and for me recent vintages put it in the top handful of the core range (along with the Marsanne, CS and Shiraz). A good nod to Provence with some controlled thickness through the palate. Not 'dry' but tending that way.

Well this was a surprise. $15 at K&L, so wasnt expecting much. 13%ABV. Right off the bat, this has ruby red grapefruit. Not normal grapfruit, which I am not a big fan of. This is unmistakably ruby red grapefruit, and its fantastic. Light crisp acidity and salinity follow, in a way making you think you are actually sipping grapefruit juice. Then it lingers on the palate for a good 20 seconds, that salinity and citric acid playing off one another over and over. Definitely one Ill be buying again.

Bright red fruit aromas and flavors, with some hints of tropical fruit, rose and dust.
