Polished and a good example of the style that sits b/w a traditional take and a modern style. Low impact acid but still has a presence. Fruits are fresh but perhaps s tad muted. Herbal notes. In some respects looks like a cool climate shiraz.

100% Barbera. Decanted for 3h. Medium ruby color with purple undertones, aromas of ripe cherries, raspberries. On the palate, more fruits, vanilla, compared to original tasting of september 2021 this wine has gotten more maturation, more balanced, integrated tannins, medium finish.

OK-ish I would say however perhaps a bit more "polished" than what I remember from previous vintages although it is a few years since I had this one. Quite classic Barbera, great balance, quite pure fruit, ok lenght. Not really up there with the big ones when it comes to Barbera in my book, but sure - is is far from a bad bottle of wine, rather the other way around.
