A little disappointed with this one. Decanted for two hours. Almost nothing on the nose which was surprising based on other comments. Color was beautiful. Dark ruby red. Medium bodied. Venturied as well trying to get something out the wine. Tart cherries is the best description. Very little complexity to it. Medium tannis. Drank with different cheeses, dried fruits and eventually a ribeye. Nothing helped. I have several bottles left which will be pushed to the back of the cellar and hopefully gets better in a few years.

2018 leap was horribly disappointing. I decanted for three hours and was very excited to try it. I bought 6 bottles unfortunately. It was extremely sharp on the palate. Not complicated and had 0 finish. All this for 90/bottle. I am not a wine critic but how they rate this at 96 points is beyond me.

The nose is absolutely spectacular - rich plum, pencil shavings, leather
Sadly, things go downhill from there. Sour cherry and off-season strawberries…just a little weirdly tight, but not overly tannic or acidic.
