First taste of first glass, poured immediately after uncorking: Sour cherry and raspberry on the nose with an undertone of dried mushroom all of which carry over to the palate with the sour cherry dominating then lingering tartly at the finish. I am going to give this 30 minutes of air to see if it opens up and the sourness gives way at all.
EDIT: 30 minutes in the mushroom shifts to clean loam, the sourness diminishes, and the flavors blossom. 2 hours in and it becomes a well balanced, cheerful expression of terroir and blend. Bright, tart cherry and raspberry give way to a mild peppery warmth which lingers pleasantly. Not too shabby. Perhaps this could have cellared for another couple years before peak. I don't know -I'm still learning- but that's my hunch.

Herbal nose. Mild tannins. Fruit forward, but not overwhelming. Bit of plum, bit of earthiness. Good but subdued weeknight sipper. A citrusy note becomes evident after the bottle has been open for an hour.

Earthy and warm with some good fruit, medium body, dry, better after breathing, nice!

I don’t get any of the syrah mentioned on the back label, just carignan and grenache. Drunk cool
Attractive food wine, seems lighter than the claimed 14%. Easy acidity, touch of earth around the tannins

Great for the price, good character, some terroir and sence of place. Better in a year or two but drinking pretty well now.

Fruit forward with notes of candied raspberry, dried fig, and herbs. Slightly young, could use a few more years. Great weeknight wine. Best decanted.
