Maybe there is a little confusion here: I saw similar ratings on Viu Manent Malbec Special Selection (http://www.cellartracker.com/wine.asp?iWine=352898) as mine on this... Anyway, I drank the wine in this picture.
On the nose deep dark fruit notes, some tobacco as well, and of course, the unique Chilean character. On the palate it is very, very, very concentrated, huge body, lots of good tannins, really structured and nice. Long finish. It's a monster, but not that over the top stuff, for me. I'd like to taste it when it gets mature, I guess it will become more complex and stunning, and sure it has many years ahead of it. I love it. What QPR. The best Chilean I've ever had.

Wow...this one with 30 mins of air was singing. Sublte blueberry fruit, pine needles, spice, soft tannins, long finish. Concentrated that feels of aging potential, not crazy extration. Nice integration. Slightly hollow in the mid-palate...not a flaw. Note bottle variation exists with this wine.

Wow...what a QPR. Deep purple...unflitered. Nice raisen, blueberry, cassis...all sublte, integrated and under a nice old world style spice and earth. Long finish. Very nice stuff.

Aging well...can use air to fully integrate. Still very dark...Muted fruit...blueberries and soft dusty cherries. Spice ...soft tannins .
