Had this at Christmas dinner with prime rib and off the bat the nose was powerful with raspberry blueberry and some mineral notes. Beautiful. Palette was medium to full bodied and had notes of red fruit and some interesting cocoa and mineral. Overall a really good value if you can get it in the low $30s. Most places sell near $50 now and that might be a bit steep but napa cabs these days are all a bit steep for the value. Bought a few just to have some Cali cabs. Excellent wine and I agree with the 92-94 pts from critics.
Very likable from the pnp and enjoyed over 3-4 hours as the Eagles beat the Cowgirls. Basic as basic can be, but balanced, approachable and very nice with Patrick's homemade chicken chili. Nothing bad and nothing exceptional, but all very nice.

Nice Napa, no California fruit bomb here. A strong welcoming red fruit fills the air during the first pour. The red fruit follows through on the tongue with cherry, red currant, smoke, graham crackers, dried herbs, and blueberry. Medium plus finish, medium minus acidity to go with approachable tannins. No overbearing ripe fruits here at all just subtle and delicious stuff.
Quite fruity and bit soft but excellent depth and balance. Has a bit of a fruit cake profile with nice core of red and blue fruits—but quite aromatic and fresh. Oak is well balanced. Easy Napa cab that’s crushable.

1:20 post multiple decant: Interesting nose of black olive tapenade, coffee grounds, black currant and oak. Rich and full-bodied, this really coats the palate in an array of sweet black berries and currants, cinnamon, cedar and a hint of mint. This is quite good for the price! Quite good now with enough air, this may reach age 15 in fine shape. Drink now-2031 93

Thank God this bottle wasn’t also corked. This is not a bad deal for a weekday sipper to go with steak. It has lovely floral, plum, and graphite nose. It is not complex but has a nice balanced palate that is not overly tannic with the acidity in check. This is pretty much ready to drink at any point. I find that this is a decent value at $40 a bottle. My only concern would be if there is a high incidence of corked wine that this QPR would be driven down.

(Opened 2 days) Just a beautiful wine! The nose is super aromatic and loaded with blue and black fruits, flowers and lots of cedar. Full-bodied, this is round and lush but with very present tannin. Loaded with blue and black fruits, wet stones and spring flowers. Excellent. Drink now through 2031 92

Reasonable balance of fruit and structure. Currant, herbs, gingerbread. Tannins have a medium grip at present, aiding a tart-like finish.

Currant/cassis, mineral and smoke nose. On the palate, good presence and purity of fruit; well-built with a good finish.

Sweet dark plum. Gravel, ink and big smooth tanins to lingering finish. A little complex for it's price point.
