{screwcap, 14.5%} Malt, liquorice, black pepper. Medium acid, fairly soft/low powdery tannins. Blackberry-tinged fruit, still quite youthful, but also very ripe. A bit of a fruit-bomb, but in a classy sort of style. Medium-full weight, still dry in the patchy, slightly warm, medium length finish. Decent enough. Hardly worth cellaring, but will half half-a-decade OK.

ripe dark plum, chocolate, spices and earth, m+/full body, complex spices and dry herbals flavours, well matched the weight and strength. powdery and dry tannins, still young and firm. long finish. a serious fine Shiraz of south Aus, be patient on it, hold in next 3 years.

{screwcap,14.5%} Very dark garnet red still. Closed but polished and restrained nose, almost oak-free, of jam and plum fruit. Blackberry? All fruit, at any rate. The palate has a twist of jammy sweetness, low/medium powdery tannins, lowish acidity. It’s quite mouth-filling and even along the tongue, but at this young age not terribly interesting. Keep, I guess, although it’s so soft and approachable overall I wonder about aging potentially.

Solid year after year. Some are better than others. This one checks in at the lower end of the spectrum; currently displaying an austere beam of acidity throughout the mid-palate. Fine finish, reticent nose. Lots of potential considering its youth.

Great, but needs more time. We drank over 3 days and the evolution was amazing. I am going to hide the rest of my case in the cellar for at least 2 years before I drink the next one.

Incredible value. Oak and chocolate tones are a bit overt at first, but fruit quickly comes forward after an hour decant. Blueberry, blackberry, and chocolate-covered cherry ganache, but not over the top probably thanks to the cooler climate Eden Valley fruit. John Duval is a tour-de-force winemaker and this ranks right up there with the best Entity bottlings ever. Think Sparky's Blue Eyed Boy in a superlative year. James Halliday sometimes overrates his country's efforts, but any hater of Barossa shiraz needs to recalibrate with this. Do not miss.

Still very green. Typical Barossa Shiraz. Nothing more to add

Ripe, juicy, balanced and firm feel, very primary. Much like my '19 vintage review.

First time I've tried this wine. A lovely Barossa shiraz bursting with fruit and with a lovely smooth finish and a great nose.
