Blend of 10 - 12 lots in Napa Valley, mostly valley floor and a small percentage of Petite Verdot. Has this dark cherry with a dash of mint and black pepper going on. And then more acidity on the palate than expected. Kinda an odd one - shows Napa fruit but not Napa mid palate.

Fantastic esp for the price. Even at this age, a graceful texture, healthy oak treatment bringing warm cassis flavors. Glad I bought a lot of this stuff!

Enjoyed last night with a pizza. Very smooth and easy drinking but still a baby. Will be even better 4-8 years from now.
