After almost exclusively two weeks of Spanish wine on holiday, what did we do next? Another Spanish wine with good old Fish and Chips. Still drinking nicely - not much fruit but a nice structure with a hint of salinity.

Seven course wine pairing - Canlis Seattle (Seattle, WA): Color Light yellow. Citrus green apple taste. Melon and ocean sea nose. Paired with amazing potato dish and then the salad. Excellent pairings! Lighter feel than the white served after it. Wine List description: Easy-drinking with citrus and a light, ocean kiss

Delicious Albariño. Better than the typical $15 ones. This was a little more but well worth it. Not just a fruit blast, but it has great character and is very refreshing.

Val do Salnés.

Medium straw color. Nose of ripe peach with a touch of citrus and honeysuckle. Similar flavors on the palate with ripe, juicy stone fruits. Medium+ acidity, rounded mouthfeel, medium body. Delivers along expectations for a quality albarino but somewhat on the simple side.

Pale lemon in the glass. Aromatic - loads of canned peach, apricot, meadow flowers, green melon. Light-bodied with a beautifully bright acidity and just a touch of lees to lend a bit of complexity. The stone fruit flavours really come out on the palate, which I love. Tasty af!

The color is pale lemon. On the nose there are pronounced aromas of lemon, grapefruit, green apple, pear, blossoms, little green bell pepper. The wine is youthful. The acidity is high and the body is light. The flavors on the palate are similar to the aromas on the nose. The finish is very long. This Albarino is fresh and easy drinking. The QPR is pretty good. Glass I used: Josephine No 1.

Very fresh and crisp on the nose, dominated by bright citrus notes, with just a hint of floral elements. This impression carries through on the palate which closes with quite zippy acidity. Ideal to drink now in the summer with fresh seafood.

Last 2021 bottle and a very good one - comparatively fruity although with that classic Albarino saline edge.

Very nice Albariño. Good acidity, fruit and finish. Like the tropical fruit. Will be great with fish.

Perhaps a bit austere, but enjoyable. Not as sweet as I remember Albarino but that might just be my failing memory :(

Consistent with previous bottle. Paired great with grilled swordfish and charred lemons.

Dinar a L'Espurna. Como siempre fantástico. Un básico de albariño que ofrece mas de lo que cuesta.

Slank og fruktig med forfriskende mineralsk preg. Friske, grønne epler og lime, med våt, salt steiner fra sjøen.
