Pale brick red. Big, big aromas of hibiscus, mushroom and a bit of clove. Medium body. Good balance. Fresh acidity. Big flavors of cherries, loam, and not surprisingly hibiscus. Bit sweet. Long finish.

Bright ruby color with slow legs. Cinnamon spice, cedar, raspberry and floral on the nose. Cherry cola, cranberry and red licorice on the palate. Long satin like finish.

Lots of good fruit, big nose, but oaky / buttery thing makes it feel a touch flabby, especially in comparison with the Three Sticks pinot we had the previous week

Translucent with pale ruby color. Nose very full with cola notes. Taste has tart cherries and earthy notes with some oak and then pepper on a moderate finish. Lovely wine

Initial impressions on Day 1 were that the wine was a little disjointed. There was even a slight balsamic/red vinegar quality on the nose that made me think something might be off with the wine. On the palate was a much better experience. Muted red and black cherries, forest floor and prominent oak spice. Based on my memory of KB pinots, which I haven't had in quite a while, this is by far one of the most structured and tannic pinots I've had from them. Style has def changed over time, which could explain why this seemed a little all over the place. Maybe they're making these wines to be age-worthy now? Hmmm, interesting. Look forward to revisiting their wines.

Paired with beef wellington. Light red color. Great mouthfeel with a balance of acidity and slight tannin. Mushroom, cherry, wet earth. Beautiful wine

My last review may have been bottle specific. This one was consistent the first tasting I had - very nice!

No formal note. Coravin pour. Typical KB RRPinot. Lush strawberry fruit.
