A touch of funk on the nose initially, but it dissipates quickly. I much prefer both the ‘20 and ‘18 vintages. This seems less integrated than those. Still, pretty wonderful.

Alchemist Bar & Lounge (San Francisco): The nose had dark, ripe red fruits with a core of black fruits, gentle earth and some chocolate appear with some time.
Flavors of similar red fruits from the nose, good juiciness and freshness, gentle steeped tea and minerals, graphite and soft bitter earth.
Like the Chardonnay, surprising freshness but loses its health after being opened for a while.

Deep, rich, cherry chocolate flavor. Outstanding wine.

Almost a sulfuric smell to the nose. Swirling brings that out, and blow off. Its a big powerful mountain cabernet. Gorgeous structure.
