Burgundy Tasting (Philadelphia): fairly simple honeydew and lychee notes on the nose. palate shows tropical fruit. with some air, the oak began to appear, well integrated -- that makes me think i am a little low here and just hitting this wine at a bad time. Development of this is unclear -- in 3 years, it might be quite nice or it might just be what it is now...

A Sampling Of Burgundy: PVery pale color. Nearly colorless. Great nose of honeydew and other ripe melons, minor oak, green apple and nice fruit. Palate a step down from the dynamic nose with brown sugar, oak and good fruit. Not a particularly long finish but it builds with time. Good and simple but I truthfully expected a bit more from this.
