A terrific Auslese. Opens up with a bit more VA than I had anticipated, which somewhat dissipates with air revealing a honeyed, hugely complex, structured and intense wine with very high acidity. These really dense and powerful Auslese may never be my own favourites, at least not when young, but can be very very good with age. Drink 2040+
