Beautiful SB...didnt take formal notes, but always a fan favorite. Great nose of tropical fruits, pineapple/mineral notes in the palate. Long and complex finish.

Friday Night Brown Bagger (R&R): Double blind. Pale color with notes of gooseberry, lime, grapefruit and lemongrass. Bright acidity supporting an abundance of citrusy fruit. Balanced, with a lingering finish. I was *this close* to declaring L’Apres-Midi, but would have expected just a bit more richness to show. Still, easy to pick out as domestic sauv blanc. Clearly young, I’d give this three to five before diving in; from 2026+. (R&R)

Well we had our NYC friends come across the river and have dinner. The dinner was supposed to be the end of October but my wife had just fractured her wrist so we had to reschedule So i served this as an aperitif (was going to use the 2020's but with my disorganization I couldn't find them so I had to use the 2021's) This is really nice wine with a palate of white flowers, grass, river rocks and a touch of citrus. We wound up drinking two bottles before we sat down to eat.

Citrus/lemon on the nose, the wine has very high acidity, decent fruit and a nice finish. Definitely needs some food at this stage. Still very young.

An excellent SB for PM - notes of green apple, herbs, minerals with good acidity and mouthfeel.
