Deep ruby. Black & red cherries nose/palate. Some spice & cloves. Medium bodied, well integrated tannins. Good wine which should drink well for 5+ years (hopefully as first of twelve.)

Lovely nose with cherry characters coming through. Palate is elegant, smooth and supple. It’s a balanced wine drinking well now but will benefit from more time in the bottle

A scented berry nose. Gorgeous colour. Moderate tannins. Not too heavy on the palette and not overly big. May have opened it too early. Touch of spicy with some pepper.
Went in again sans doobie: - red notes, red cherry -dark date notes -vanilla -seemed like more mid palate on this one -much less complex minus the dry mouth 🙃 -softer, more forwardly -clove, can't believe I didn't notice the clove!

- Rich oak and distant dark fruit - Dark toasty oak points - dusty walnut and dark, dark red fruit - detecting just a squeak of date -balaced, just a smidge forward by way of fruit -mild acid and tannins, just present -tannins seem tame for a 2019 - drinks bold and robust, yet firm and almost light on the mid palette - maybe some smoke, was that cigar? - narrow chocolate finish with those dry walnuts once again -drinks much like a Brunello. 👍

Color: Medium ruby. Nose: Red fruit, cherries, pomegranate, reminds me of warm sweet pastry filled with delicious fruit. Something slightly floral, too. Excellent! Mouth: Excellent expressiveness and length. Excellent tannins and acidity which contributes to the excellent mouthfeel that can only described as silky. Can be enjoyed now or stored for many years.

Popped and poured. Dark ruby, viscous and bright. Fairly complex nose, crushed raspberries, raspberry liqueur, strawberries, cherries, quite fruit forward. Orange blossoms, violets, cedarwood, vanilla, leather, damp earth, allspice, dried mushrooms on the palette. On the palate it has an high acidity, good minerality, a full body and some powerful noble tannins. The mouthfeel is quite integrated, fruity, red fruits, licorice, oak, tobacco. Quite good depth and nice finish. I think this wine is really pleasurable to drink now, maybe with some air, but it’s worth to wait a few years to fully come together. Give it 3 to 5 years to reach its peak, and drink it for a decade or so. I personally won’t wait longer than 5 years for a Chianti of this caliber anyway.

Popped and poured. Had at an antinori restaurant. Blackberry, tar and herbs on the nose. The wine is nicely balanced, still youthful and primed to age. Holding back a fair amount this is hard to judge but certainly has potential.

Quite fruity with currant and vanilla flavors. Light to medium bodied but quite floral overall.

Ready to drink, tannins are easing up, acidity is still present but softer than in his youth.

Dark berries and vanilla. Lots of fresh acid. Still need some years to develop

This has some red fruity warm feel to it and is well balanced and integrated. I think it is a bit pricy though.
